Mais recente disco: Below The Belt (2010)

Abaixo, a letra...

Danko Jones - Full Of Regret

Gotta do a little bit of reminiscing on the days that just gone by
They say don't look back but I take things in stride
Everybody wanna minimize
They want to change what can't be undone
I can see it's a recipe that always leads to just no fun

Haven't slipped that time to take you back
I got a few regrets of my own
She had a diamond eye, beauty all her own
Where are you now girl
You know you got that special place
I always see you when love spits in my face

Regrets, I've had mine

Lonely nights and a whole lot of wasted time
If you see her won't you tell her for me
It's better this way to avoid our misery

It's a little bit of luck but whole a lot of hard work takes a toll
Most people don't know when they walk in how they get what's in store
I thought I'd given up, and settled on the blues
But I'd always think of her when I didn't know what to do

It'll be my burden to track when it got hot
When she walked on, I didn't know what I'd just lost
Maybe she's out there and thinking just like me
What if, what would have happened
What could have been

Regrets, I've had mine

Lonely nights and a whole lot of wasted time
If you see her won't you tell her for me
It's better this way to avoid our misery

Regrets, I've had mine

Lonely times and too many wasted nights
If you see her won't you tell her for me
It's better this way to avoid our misery

Regrets, I've had mine
Regrets, I've had mine

Sometimes, when I think back
I wonder where it was that I lost track
And I think of you, ha ha baby who knew...
Who knew

She's out there, she's somewhere
I'm losing my head again
She's always haunting me
I'm going out of my head

Regrets, I've had mine

Lonely nights and a whole lot of wasted time
If you see her won't you tell her for me
It's better this way to avoid our misery

Regrets, I've had mine

Lonely times and too many wasted nights
If you see her won't you tell her for me
It's better this way to avoid our misery

I'm full of regret, I'm full of regret!
I'm full of regret, I'm full of regret!

1. Hail Hail
2. Call Back
3. Welcome To L.A.
4. Heart Like A Wheel
5. See Her
6. Old Piano
7. 101
8. Jump The Ship
9. She Really Dos It For Me
10. Rise Up
11. Brothers, Sons & Daughters
12. Pure Mountain Angel

Mas a que ais gostei mesmo até agora foram a She Really Dos It For Me e a Rise Up.

UNDER MY SKIN:

I've got you under my skin
I've got you deep in the heart of me
So deep in my heart that you're really a part of me
I've got you under my skin.

I've tried so not to give in
I have said to myself this affair, it will never gonna go so well
But why should I try to resist when baby, I know so well
That I've got you under my skin.

I'd sacrafice anything come what might
For the sake of having you near,
In spite of a warning voice that comes in the night
It repeats, and it shouts in my ear
"Don't you know you fool, you never can win
Use your mentality, wake up to reality"
And each time I do, just the thought of you
Makes me stop before I begin,
Because I've got you under my skin.

I would sacrafice anything come what might
For the sake of having you near,
In spite of a warning voice that comes in the night
It repeats, how it yells in my ear
Don't you know you fool, ain't no chance to win
Why not use your mentality, get up, wake up to reality"
And each time I do, just the thought of you
Makes me stop just before I begin,
Because I've got you under my skin.
And I love you under my skin.

You won't find a better loser.

Bell Bottom Blues - Eric Clapton

Bell bottom blues, you made me cry.
I don’t want to lose this feeling.
And if I could choose a place to die
It would be in your arms.

Do you want to see me crawl across the floor to you?
Do you want to hear me beg you to take me back?
I’d gladly do it because
I don’t want to fade away.
Give me one more day, please.
I don’t want to fade away.
In your heart I want to stay.

It’s all wrong, but it’s all right.
The way that you treat me baby.
Once I was strong but I lost the fight.
You won’t find a better loser.

Do you want to see me crawl across the floor to you?
Do you want to hear me beg you to take me back?
I’d gladly do it because
I don’t want to fade away.
Give me one more day, please.
I don’t want to fade away.
In your heart I want to stay.

Do you want to see me crawl across the floor to you?
Do you want to hear me beg you to take me back?
I’d gladly do it because
I don’t want to fade away.
Give me one more day, please.
I don’t want to fade away.
In your heart I want to stay.

Bell bottom blues, don’t say goodbye.
I’m sure we’re gonna meet again,
And if we do, don’t you be surprised
If you find me with another lover.

Do you want to see me crawl across the floor to you?
Do you want to hear me beg you to take me back?
I’d gladly do it because
I don’t want to fade away.
Give me one more day, please.
I don’t want to fade away.
In your heart I want to stay.

I don’t want to fade away.
Give me one more day please.
I don’t want to fade away.
In your heart I long to stay.

...arte!
Um exemplo disso, para mim, é esta passagem final da música "Anna Begins" da banda "Counting Crows", no seu álbum "August and Everything After". Sem explicação.

"...But then I start to think about the consequences
'Cause I don't get no sleep in a quiet room and...

This time, when kindness falls like rain
It washes me away and
Anna begins to change my mind
And everytime she sneezes I believe it's love and
Oh, Lord, I'm not ready for this sort of thing

She's talking in her sleep
It's keeping me awake
And Anna begins to toss and turn
And every word is nonsense but I understand and
Oh Lord, I'm not ready for this sort of thing

Her kindness bangs a gong
It's moving me along
And Anna begins to fade away
It's chasing me away...
She disappears
And, oh, Lord, I'm not ready for this sort of thing"

The Black Crowes - A Train Still Makes A Lonely Sound

As I listen to the wheels... hear them going round and round
It reminds me of a train... that still makes a lonely sound
It reminds me of a girl... that came from Knoxville town
And how on that April day... when she took this old boy down

Oh, Tennesee... you got me runnin'... but I'm not coming back this time
Way out west... is where I'm goin'... to forget the one I left behind

Well, I might have seen Moses... standin' on the Penn state line
Just another wanderer... with an angel on his mind
I know love it has its reason... way it comes and it goes
There's no mystery in season... or of this hard cold road

Oh, Tennesee... you got me runnin'... but I'm not coming back this time
Way out west... is where I'm goin'... to forget the one I left behind

Oh, Tennesee... you got me runnin'... but I'm not coming back this time
Way out west... is where I'm goin'... to forget the one I left behind

Oh, Tennesee... you got me runnin'... but I'm not coming back this time
Way out west... is where I'm goin'... to forget the one I left behind

This Love - The Magic Numbers

Through the gates of life she left
Through the years I've wept
Lying face down in the ground
I can't hold you now

Why did I choose to refuse you
Its not that I used you
I left when I should've
Believed that I could of held on
But you never let go
Or at least I don't think so

And if all I've got are these tears
Will the sun come up
And rid me of darkness again
Throw my hands up

Why did I choose to refuse you
Its not that I used you
When all of my words
Were withheld and unheard
I did fall
But you never let go
Or at least I don't think so

Said you know that I'm here
Said you know that I'm here
And if all I want is a room with you
To break down the windows and pull you through
If all I see is an empty sky
That pulls you out from the snow

I don't wanna know This Love
I don't wanna know
It's all I'll ever have
This love
I don't wanna know

This love
This heart
This is waking up

This love
Maybe we can learn
This love
Maybe we can learn
This love

Wishing Well - Blind Melon
do disco "For My Friends" de 2008.
When you fall back down
And you lost your crown

Get back up, walk around

Turn that frown upside down

Take my hand once again

We will all understand

Help you find a new plan

Whoooooa

It's time to help you

Get you back on your feet and on your way

If the tables were turned around

I know you'd be there for me

It all works out

Don't get lost and forget

Turn the lights off and rest

Don't you worry no more

Heal your pain and your sores

We'll be there when you wake

No more sweat or the shakes

Feel the love if you can

Lost your mind, feel insane

Whoooooa

You're feeling hopeless

And all your dreams have gone away

Take the time to heal your sorrows

And disappear from the world

Live for tomorrow

Hope you changed your ways

There's not much more to say
When the dark turns to gray
Broken hearts fade away

Whoooooa

It's time to help you

And get you back on your feet and on your way

If the tables were turned around

I know you'd be there for me

It all works out

And i hope that it all works out...

Do último CD, "Before the Frost..." (quer dizer, penúltimo, pois tem o "...Until the Freeze").

Black Crowes - Appaloosa

Be struck by the arrow of weakness
On the gilded path to forgiveness
Find my way home when the morning comes
To stay your friend when it's all said and done

Simple as lightning starting wild fire
Just down from a trip off my high wire
Just coming home to walk my own floors
Just coming home to the one I adore

Appaloosa
Appaloosa
Appaloosa
Take me home
Where I can dream my days away

You took your tears back to the river
Knowing all the while there'd be more later
So it goes in a rainy day town
Come on and won'cha let me lay you down

Sometimes the sun makes beggars believers
And sometimes a shrine is built to deceive her
In between let oblivion ring
Whoa let me hear all you sad angels sing

Appaloosa
Appaloosa
Appaloosa
Take me home
Where I can dream my days away

Appaloosa
Appaloosa
Appaloosa
Take me home
Where I can dream my days away

Mais uma da série... Músicas que volto a ouvir.

Angel - Dave Matthews Band

I call you up
You pick up
You call my bluff
On the cards of love

You hold too close
Your hands to your chest
I can't read your eyes
But I confess

It's lonely far from you oh
Even when you're right by me
It's only why I wait for you
To take my hand...

Why do I beg like a child for your candy?
Why do I come after you like I do? I love you...
Whate'er you are... I swear
You'll be my angel... You...

I play my cards
The best I can
But I lose my luck
When you're not here

My Darling heart
Won't ya please give in?
I may be strong
But I want ya back again...

When you're not here
Oh its hard to pretend
Its all alright again
When your not here love
Its hard to pretend
Its all alright

Still, why do I beg like a child for your candy
Why do I run after you like I do, I love you
Whate'er you are... I swear
You'll be my angel... You...

Watch the deck,
Count your cards
It makes no sense that I'm always losin'
When you're gone...

Why do I beg like a child for your candy
Why do I come after you like I do I love you
Whate'er you are... I swear
You'll be my angel... You...

When you're gone...

Mais uma da série... Músicas que volto a ouvir.

Creep - Radiohead

When you were here before,
Couldn't look you in the eye

You're just like an angel,

Your skin makes me cry

You float like a feather

In a beautiful world

I wish I was special

You're so fuckin' special

But I'm a creep,

I'm a weirdo

What the hell am I doin' here?

I don't belong here

I don't care if it hurts,

I wanna have control

I want a perfect body

I want a perfect soul

I want you to notice

When I'm not around

You're so fuckin' special

I wish I was special

But I'm a creep

I'm a weirdo

What the hell am I doin' here?

I don't belong here, ohhhh, ohhhh

She's running out again

She's running out

She run run run run...
run... run...

Whatever makes you happy

Whatever you want

You're so fuckin' special

I wish I was special

But I'm a creep,

I'm a weirdo

What the hell am I doin' here?

I don't belong here

I don't belong here...

Qui catigoria! Saum ums ongonor antes!!!

- Me ENTERECEI pelo carro;
- Gosto de carros ENGUAL ao do Velozes e FURIOSOSOS;
- Sobre o mundo ALTOMOBILÍSITICO... ... é um sonho de CONSSUMO para MUINTOS;
- SIMPLISMENTE uma matéria GOSTOZA de se ver, FOI bem SELECIONADOS os carros;
- Melhor que todos A CIMA;
- TENHÃO um bom dia;
- PARABENISO pela bela EXPOZIÇÃO dos modelos;
- CONCERTEZA!;
- Um carro EZEMPLAR;
- CHOU de bola, me APA CHONEI no Audi R6 Avant;
- Posso HUMILDIMENTE dizer queeles são D+;
- Gostaria de PORSOIR um carro desses... ... seria a única PERSOUA A QUI no Brasil a ter um;
- Sou fã de AUTOMOBELISMO;
- Sem SONBRA de DÚVIDAS;
- Gosto de DIRIGUIR carros...;
- Espero que CONTINUI assim;
- A matéria me IMPRECIONO;
- QUE INDERA se eu TIVECE um carro desse!;
- É tudo COMERSIAL...;

The Rolling Stones
Angie
Angie, Angie, when will those clouds all disappear?
Angie, Angie, where will it lead us from here?
With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats
You can't say we're satisfied
But Angie, Angie, you can't say we never tried
Angie, you're beautiful, but ain't it time we said good-bye?
Angie, I still love you, remember all those nights we cried?
All the dreams we held so close seemed to all go up in smoke
Let me whisper in your ear:
Angie, Angie, where will it lead us from here?

Oh, Angie, don't you weep, all your kisses still taste sweet
I hate that sadness in your eyes
But Angie, Angie, ain't it time we said good-bye?
With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats
You can't say we're satisfied
But Angie, I still love you, baby
Ev'rywhere I look I see your eyes
There ain't a woman that comes close to you
Come on Baby, dry your eyes
But Angie, Angie, ain't it good to be alive?
Angie, Angie, they can't say we never tried

Assim do nada...

- Lakini's Juice;
- Century;
- Turn My Head;
- Heropsychodreamer;
- Freaks;
- Merica;
- Gas Hed Goes West.
Gas Hed Goes West - Live

If I was half alive, then you were dead
Subsistin' on that same old bread
It's the memory that hides the whole wide world
It's the gas hed's love of america
It's the memory that hides
Take your photographs back
For the love of all gods
Our gas hed marches on
Our gas hed marches on
He's a bonified man, a star amongst his clan
And the only one that let me ride
It's the memory that dies, our gas hed was right
When they lanced his skull there was puss and light
It's the memory that dies
So take your photographs back
For the love of all gods
Our gas hed marches on
Our gas hed marches...
It's the memory that dies
And make your photographs black
For the love of all gods
Our gas hed marches on
Our gas hed marches on
oooooooh oooooooh
It's the memory that dies
So take your photographs back
For the love of all gods
Our gas hed marches on!
oooooooh
oooooooh
aaaaahhhhhhhh Gas hed's on!!! On...
Gas hed's on the radio, radio, radio
Gas hed's on the radio, radio, radio
Gas hed's on the radio... yeah!

Diamond Ring - The Black Crowes

No diamond rings... for a long long time.
Do I look like Chris Robinson? Nop... But we both look just like Jesus Christ... ehehhe

Come on baby say my name
Well do you want to play a game
It feels so good it's almost pain
And every time is always the same

It could make a man insane
Well baby that's okay, that's okay

You're the reason I want to sing
You make me feel like a king
I love the sunshine that you bring
I think I'll buy you a diamond ring
A diamond ring
Baby baby say I do
And I'll spend my life with you

Baby lay down by my side
Baby don't you look divine
The way you smile should be a crime
You do it to me every time

It's a feeling that no one could deny
Baby tell me why
Tell me why

You're the reason I want to sing
You make me feel like a king
I love the sunshine that you bring
I think I'll buy you a diamond ring
A diamond ring
Baby baby say I do
And I'll spend my life with you

Abandono... e a loucura toma conta.

ASAP I'll be writing again.

Frank "Blue Eyes" Sinatra

UNDER MY SKIN

I've got you under my skin

I've got you deep in the heart of me
So deep in my heart that you're really a part of me
I've got you under my skin.

I try so not to give in
I say to myself this affair, it never will go so well
But why should I try to resist when baby, I know damn well
That I've got you under my skin.

I'd sacrafice anything come what might
For the sake of having you near,
In spite of a warning voice that comes in the night
It repeats, repeats in my ear
"Don't you know you fool, you never can win
Use your mentality, wake up to reality"
And each time I do, just the thought of you
Makes me stop before I begin,
Because I've got you under my skin.

big-band instrumental break

Chorus
I would sacrafice anything come what might
For the sake of having you near,
In spite of a warning voice that comes in the night
It repeats, how it yells in my ear
"Don't you know you fool, ain`t no chance to win
Why not use your mentality, get up, wake up to reality"
And each time I do, just the thought of you
Makes me stop just before I begin,
Because I've got you under my skin.
And I like you under my skin.

Os Vigaristas - The Brothers Bloom

Ia ver o tal do...

Mr. Mike Patton soltando a goela...
Eu, meu primo e o Faith No More...
Faith No More, galera!
O show podia durar umas 3 horas...
